I will stamp all over 'credible combatant' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
